I love that they keep getting higher in capacity, easier to operate, and cheaper, and they stay the same size physically. Great. I've never had one die on me, though a contract employee of mine says one of his died. Great Drive Date: 2008-04-19 | Rating: 5 I bought this drive so that I could easily transfer large video and audio files between two pcs using a USB connection, and backup some other stuff. It has performed very well, to this point. The drive stays cool, is very quiet, and is relatively attractive to look at. I have not had any hitches or wait times wile streaming video from the drive. The blue LED on the front is almost annoyingly bright, especially in a dark room, but that's about my only complaint. It is blinding, if you look directly into the light--seriously. I love the drive, overall, and I'll be buying another when this one fills up. The size, cost, appearance, and performance are all better than I expected for such a large capacity unit.
